Luella Schmidt

Founder & Chairperson of the Board

Luella founded Fine Point Consulting in 2006 and served as the company’s CEO for 14 years. Luella created Fine Point’s signature service delivery method that provides world-class accounting, CFO, and human resources support for starts-ups and nonprofits. She also developed a robust management system that has become the gold standard for creating an engaged workplace culture and high performing teams. Luella regularly donates her time to organizations fostering entrepreneurship as both a speaker and mentor.

Chelsea Stanton


Chelsea was recently appointed President of Fine Point Consulting. She first started with the company in 2013 after receiving her Associate’s Degree in Accounting. Since then, she has excelled in all areas of Fine Point expertise and every role within the company, developed the Client Onboarding & Assurance department, and also during that time graduated from Edgewood College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Chelsea's most recent previous position as Director of Onboarding and Quality Assurance allowed her to work with and introduce nearly every client to the Fine Point Team and become the go-to expert in all things ‘Fine Point’.

Zach Miller

Chief Operating Officer

Zach attended Edgewood College where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Accounting and Finance, a Master’s in Business Administration, and was a four year member of the Edgewood College Soccer Team. Prior to joining Fine Point Consulting in 2015, Zach held roles as a financial accountant and collateral examiner for two separate publicly held companies. Zach is excited by the opportunities and challenges that are presented by working with different businesses across a variety of industries.

Jason Stansell

Milwaukee Practice Leader

Jason graduated from UW-Whitewater where he received a Master of Accountancy. Jason began his career in Madison at a public accounting firm as an auditor of both public and privately held companies, with an emphasis on startups and manufacturing. After leaving public accounting, he transitioned into helping turn-around manufacturing companies in the Milwaukee area. Jason serves as both a Controller and head of business development in Milwaukee. Jason is excited to help different businesses with their unique needs and solving challenging problems.

Steph Breunig

HR Practice Leader

Steph came to Fine Point in 2016, after nearly twenty years in education. Her vast experience with students and teachers prepared her to provide support in many areas at Fine Point as Firm Administrator, where she helped develop a robust employee training and onboarding program, and gained her valuable HR experience. She was recently promoted to HR Practice Leader. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in English from Edgewood College and her Master’s of Education from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Steph is always excited to dig into new projects to help Fine Point and its amazing clients grow and succeed.

Louisa Else

Tax Practice Leader

Louisa graduated from Hamline University in Saint Paul with bachelor’s degrees in economics and creative writing, enhancing her education with a heavy emphasis on accounting as well. She also spent a year studying business and economics abroad at University of Trier and Cologne Business School in Germany.

She started her career at BDO in Anchorage, Alaska, with a focus on corporate, not-for-profit, and small business taxation. She has been a CPA since 2014. After she and her family decided to come back home to Wisconsin, Louisa spent two years working in the field of tax accounting at a Milwaukee-based publicly traded company. At Fine Point, Louisa most enjoys using her diverse career experience to work closely with her tax and consulting clients to help them achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Louisa also serves on the board of the nonprofit Girls Rock Camp Alaska and volunteers in her church. She also enjoys crocheting, writing, and spending time outdoors with her husband and kids whenever she can.

Danny Burns


Danny graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a bachelor’s degree in both Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining Fine Point Consulting, Danny began his career in public accounting at Baker Tilly in Madison, where he obtained his CPA license. In his spare time, Danny enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Danny is excited to use his prior experiences to help clients with their specific needs and continue to help them succeed.

Rossela Carreon

Staff Accountant

Rossela Carreon graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration - Accounting concentration from California State University San Bernardino in 2012. After graduating, she began working as an in-house accountant for a medical management company where she was exposed to a variety of complex accounting tasks. She then moved on to work for an accounting/tax firm in Los Angeles, California, helping a diverse range of industries. Rossela enjoys problem solving and providing great customer service to her clients.

Melanie Campoverde

Staff Accountant

Melanie graduated from Queens College in New York with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. As she was studying in college she gained experience as a bookkeeper for an automotive dealership. This is where she learned that accounting is a passion of hers. Since then she continued her career in the accounting field for various industries. She is a very dedicated, hard worker and pays very close attention to detail. She takes pride in her work and ensures that the client is receiving top quality bookkeeping services. She is very excited to be part of Fine Point Consulting as this company works as a team and provides exceptional service to their clients.

Hunter Decman

Staff Accountant

Hunter graduated from Luther College with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  While in college he gained valuable accounting experience working with an HVAC contractor.  He has recently joined the Fine Point Consulting team and is excited to work with a variety of businesses.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Diana Endres

Onboarding & Assurance Specialist

Diana joined the Fine Point team in 2013 and has over 10 years accounting experience. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and became a CPA. Diana currently leads the onboarding of new clients and enjoys kicking off client relationships with a positive experience. Outside of work, Diana is mom to two young kids, enjoys golfing, reading, and eating at Chipotle.

Brad Hubele


Brad is a graduate of Upper Iowa University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. Prior to joining Fine Point in 2015 Brad spent the beginning of his career working in banking, and then as an accountant in the agriculture field. At Fine Point, Brad has received hands-on training in various roles in accounting and business that has helped him take on new roles, most recently Controller.

Allie Huber

Assistant Controller

Allie came to Fine Point Consulting in 2011 with experience in accounting for a small retail store. Since then, she has graduated from Upper Iowa University where she received her bachelor’s in Accounting. Allie enjoys working with non-profit organizations and loves the variety of small for-profit businesses she gets to work with. Allie enjoys traveling in her spare time.

Angie Jones

Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant, Angie Jones’ experience encompasses a wide variety of industries, clients, and projects. Her background includes audits of non-profits, local governments and schools, and full-charge bookkeeping, payroll, and taxes. After graduating from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Accounting, she accumulated 19 years of tax experience by working with H&R Block and a local firm. Her growth mindset is inspiring! She is always eager to meet new people and learn new skills. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and exploring any activities they can find. As a life-long learner, she also loves creating through crafting!

Debbie Kasprzak

Staff Accountant

Debbie has been providing accounting services for over 30 years, since receiving her education at Rock Valley College. She joined Fine Point Consulting as a part-time Staff Accountant in 2018 and currently resides in Georgia with her loving husband and one-eyed Yorkie. Before relocating to Georgia, Debbie was a self-employed consultant for 20+ years in Wisconsin, assisting small businesses and start-ups with their accounting needs. Her free time is spent flower gardening, quilting, and creating stained glass designs, as well as volunteering with the elderly.

Leroy Kolacinski


Leroy holds a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and obtained his CPA license in 2002. Other prior educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in music education and a Master of Science in educational administration from University of Wisconsin -Milwaukee, along with a completed paralegal studies program at Carthage College.

His past positions include leading financial teams for retailers, manufacturers and non-profit organizations. Leroy takes great pride in his ability to convey complex financial topics to clients who may not have the same financial background as a professional accountant, in ways that they are able to understand with confidence.

In his spare time, Leroy enjoys performing as a musician, serving as a judge for musical competitions and festivals, and is also a professional photographer. 

Leroy takes great pride in using the many skills he has acquired throughout his career to help business leaders to navigate through the complexities of running their organizations’ financial affairs while still maintaining the focus on their companies’ core missions. 

Kyle Krantz


Kyle is a student at UW Madison studying accounting. He enjoys putting what he's learning in college into practice since joining FPC in 2019. In his spare time, he is involved in multiple student organizations and enjoys playing intramural sports with his friends.

Erica Laube

Staff Accountant

Erica recently joined Fine Point Consulting. She graduated from Rockford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Accounting specialization. While working her way through school, she received hands-on training in tax and tax auditing during her internship. After completing her degree, Erica moved to the Madison area to begin her accounting career, and she is very excited to be part of the Fine Point Consulting team. She is currently in the process of obtaining her Master’s of Business Administration from Rockford University. When she is not working or taking classes, Erica likes to spend time painting and gardening.

Laura Miller

Staff Accountant

Laura Miller is a Staff Accountant who joined the Fine Point Consulting team in 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. After graduating, Laura has provided all different levels of accounting and bookkeeping services over the last 19 years and has vast experience in telecommuting. She is a quick study who is dependable, strives to always exceed job expectations and is contagiously compassionate. Laura is a Wyoming native and loves spending time with her family.

Gail Pawlak

Accounting Manager

Gail comes to Fine Point Consulting with over 30 years experience in accounting and management. Past experiences include manufacturing accounting, property management and managing the finances of an antique store she owned for 10 years. Gail started working at Fine Point Consulting in March of 2011.

Valeria Rodriguez

Staff Accountant

Valeria is a Staff Accountant with over 10 years of experience. She began working in the Accounting field right after graduating high school and has been able to accumulate an extensive and diversified amount of knowledge in accounting by working in different industries throughout her career. Furthermore, she completed an Associate in Science degree in 2017.

Valeria is a very committed, passionate and detailed worker. She truly finds pride in being part of a company that services its clients responsibly and with utmost care. She loves providing bookkeeping quality support and helping clients with any aspect of their business. She understands not all clients are the same or have the same needs, finding it rewarding to find a way to accommodate their needs.

Lenise Rosado

Staff Accountant

Lenise is a Staff Accountant with over 10 years of experience in the accounting field. After graduating with an Associate of Science degree in 2009, she began her career as a Junior Bookkeeper for a South Florida contractor. Since then, she has grown in her career and has gained many experiences. She is passionate about the work she provides. Lenise is thrilled to be a part of the Fine Point Consulting team.

Dan Karnick

Assistant Controller

Dan started with Fine Point Consulting in mid July. After spending five years in auditing and public accounting, he is excited to dive back into the bookkeeping world and grow with Fine Point Consulting.

Dan is prepared to help out wherever he’s needed as an assistant controller — and he especially looks forward to being involved in the business side of things, an interest he’s had since college. His experience working with a variety of different teams and redeveloping entire audit processes has equipped him with valuable skills like adaptability and a commitment to being a team player.

Outside of work, Dan barely stops moving. He’s recently started biking to work, loves snowboarding in the winter, and even plays hometown baseball as a follow up to his college career at the University of Dubuque!

Giulia Lawrence

HR Business Partner

Giulia  started with Fine Point Consulting at the beginning of July. As an HR business partner, she works in a team of three to provide clients with whatever they need to be successful, fueled by a passion for keeping her work people oriented.

Prior to Fine Point, Giulia touched all aspects of human resources in corporate HR. When asked about the proudest moments of her career, she cites her courage to take calculated risks — and emphasizes how grateful she is that she never made those decisions completely alone. She is deeply committed to collaboration, inclusion, and the magic of shared success. It’s a wonderful feeling to match employee potential with company needs.

Outside of work, Giulia believes in the importance of setting aside unstructured time. These breaks — made possible in part by Fine Point’s flexible environment and people-oriented culture — give her and her partner the space to rest without burning out, enabling them to further make an impact.
